Salima Home Restaurant in Doi Mae Salong is one of THE most surprising and DELICIOUS meals - in the cool air of Thailand's high country, you don't want anything else for lunch!

(*I don't know what bit of amazement to comment on first, the location is that special!*)
Li speaks Chinese in this video more frequently than I speak Thai, the dishes we are loving for lunch today are much closer to the cuisine of Yunnan (South-West China) than any dishes I've had in lowland Thailand, and finally, we're sipping tea from this wonderful family's own tea fields, and drinking soup with flavors from the family's own garden -I think that this experience could easily qualify as a Perfect Day of Living.

An extremely fun video to shoot, to make, the morning climb to the temple was AMAZING (what a view right?!), continuing with a walk through the generations-old traditional Yunnanese-Thai mountain town, and finally finding this incredible family and their awesome place for lunch... we had a blast, and I'm very excited to share this video today with you!
