TAWA PANEER RECIPE | NORTH INDIAN FOOD |
Ingredients:
- Oil: 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp
- Bay Leaf: 1 pc
- Dalchini: 1/2 inch
- Clove: 1 pc
- Badi Elaichi: 1 pc
- Jeera: 1 tsp
- Onion: 3 pc + 1 pc
- Green Chilli: 1 pc
- Ginger: 1 tbsp
- Garlic: 2 tbsp
- Tomato Puree: 1 cup
- Kashmiri Chilli Paste: 2 tbsp (Paste of 3 chillies)
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder: 1 tbsp
- Kashmiri Chilli Powder: 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Capsicum: 1 pc + 1 pc
- Kasuri Methi: 1 tsp
- Saunf Powder: 1/2 tsp
- Cream: 1-2 tbsp
- Butter: 2 tbsp
- Paneer: 400gm
- Handful Coriander Leaves
- Yellow Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
Recipe:
1. Take a tawa, add oil, whole spices, jeera and chopped onions. Saute till onions turn translucent.
2. Add chopped green chilli, ginger and garlic. Saute.
3. Add tomato puree and kashmiri red chilli paste. Mix well and add turmeric powder, coriander powder, kashmiri chilli powder and salt. Combine everything well and let it cook till oil rises.
4. Add chopped capsicum, kasuri methi, saunf powder and mix well. Also add water, cream and let it cook.
5. Now make some space in the centre, add oil, butter, sliced onions, capsicum, paneer and coriander leaves. Saute.
6. Add yellow chilli powder and combine everything well. Let it cook for a few minutes, top with handful coriander leaves and some cream. Enjoy!
